Stop Spam, Telemarketers & Other Time Wasters to Reach BIG GOALS

Giving keynotes on BIG GOALS in Short Order I get to look into the eyes of corporate workers across the nation. I was asked recently, "What one word describes audiences today?"

"Weary," was my immediate answer. Why? The sheer volume of interuptions and useless information is enough to inundate anyone. Reaching your BIG GOALS in less time has everything to do with how you manage the in-flow of information and data.

As a professional speaker, hired to motivate, entertain and educate people across the land there are seven things that you can do change that feeling of overwhelm to the status of over achiever. Follow these 7 tips to eliminate drag so that you can indeed get more done in less time, leaving you more balance and less busyness:

1. Use the Do Not Call Registry to prevent telemarketers from breaking up your day.

2. Check out CatalogChoice.org to remove your contact information from catalogs and direct mailing lists. Removing yourself from direct mail marketing lists costs $20 annually. Catalog removal is free.

3. The Direct Marketing Association’s Mail Preference Service can take you off direct mail lists. Opt out options include credit offers, catalogs, magazines and/or company by company.

4. If your credit card company hassles you with stuff or is killing an entire forrest to sell you what you already have, ask to be removed from those mailing lists.

5. Call 888-5-OPT-OUT (888-567-8688) to stop credit card promotional mailings or use OptOutPrescreen.com.

6. Diligently "unsubscribe" from all emails you never read.

7. To prevent receiving spam do what my 13 year old daughter did... create a gmail account called yourstreetnameSPAM@gmail.com. Use this address when registration requires an email.

Be proactive and diligent in your approach to saving time. In turn, you'll find your BIG GOALS closer than you think.
